Government of Canada Date: 08 September 2021 19:36:39 Dear Mesdames, Dear Sirs,   I write on behalf of the Tribunal.   The Tribunal has carefully considered the contents of Canada’s email of 27 August 2021 and Claimant’s counsel’s email dated 4 September 2021.  The Tribunal notes the concerns with international travel during the pandemic which have been highlighted by the Claimant.  The Tribunal also notes that Canada’s suggestion is to hold the hearing in Canada, which was not the place of the arbitration set out in Procedural Order No. 1. The Tribunal also notes that virtual hearings have been conducted in numerous cases with good efficiency.   In the circumstances, the Tribunal decides that the hearing of this matter will proceed by way of a virtual hearing on the dates presently scheduled.
